Grounds & Premises - Ashby Road Club Boundary Wall
Dear Members
This email is to inform you that the much needed work will commence on the above wall on Wednesday 24th May.
The work has to be completed from a health and safety perspective following a risk assessment and consultation from surveyors. We were advised the work must be done in spring/summer months to protect remedial works from frost damage.
During this time the contractor has agreed where possible to cause minimum disruption for tennis play by completing the work during daytime hours. This will not affect evening tennis matches nor tennis coaching programme from I2C.
In the day the contractor will leave 3 courts playable where they can however your patience and co-operation is required.
The work is anticipated to take several weeks to complete.
The work will cost circa £18,000 this has had significant impact on our club finances.
