BTSC AGM 2022 - we need YOU!
Dear Club Members
It's been a few years since we've held an AGM due to covid, but we're back and raring to go!
This year, the AGM will be held on Wednesday 14th September at 7.30pm at the clubhouse - you will soon see posters around the club to this effect
One key part of the AGM is the committee position nominations. This year we're going to try something a bit different - nominations online!
We are looking for volunteers to join the committee. For this commitment you receive free membership, and there is an expectation you will attend monthly meetings with your fellow committee members. It's great to give something back to the club if you can, and to ensure the club continues to thrive into the future.
All positions are up for grabs! Existing committee members are to express their interest if they wish to stand again, or if you haven't been on the committee before but are interested in joining, you can also express your interest!
It’s also worth me mentioning that due to other pressing commitments, Shaun Baxter will no longer be able to serve as Chairperson and this is one key role in particular that needs to be filled.

General Secretary
Treasurer
Bar Secretary
Grounds and Premises Officer
Membership Secretary
Child Protection Officer
Marketing and Press Officer
Sports and Social Officer
Data Protection Officer
Club Squash Captain
Club Tennis Captain
The process is:
1) if you want more information on any of the positions above and/or would like to join the committee, please put yourself forward by emailing me at vhh_100@icloud.com with your name and the position you would like to hold. You have until Wednesday 31st August to get your nominations in!
2) Once all nominations are in, an online voting form will be accessible for you to make your votes, by position and by nominee. This will be open from Saturday 3rd - Sunday 11th September. The link to the form will be sent out after 31st August
This enables members who cannot attend the AGM to still have their say. The final nominations will be discussed and agreed at the AGM on 14th September
