SQUASH SOCIAL SESSIONS
Dear Member,
If you have already received this email, please accept our apologies; however, we noticed that many new members did not select their email to be made available. If you did this intentionally, then please go into your MYCOURTS account and untick the box; however, please be aware that by unticking the email box, you will not receive any notification of events such as this. Also, if your mobile number is also not selected to be seen on the membership database, other members will not be able to contact you to arrange games. Note that the Club's MYCOURTS automatic court booking system is closed to people who are not members of the club.
THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Hello!
Just to let you know that we are now running weekly squash social sessions for all new members on Friday evenings (6pm-8pm) and Sunday mornings (10am-12pm).
This will give new members who signed up at the Open Day on Saturday a chance to meet each other and start playing together.
We will have several experienced Club members on hand to welcome you and organise activities.
These sessions will also give us an opportunity to assess your general level so that we can place you in an appropriate internal league (if you would like to join them) when they are released on Monday (3rd of October).
Finally, we will be charging just £2 for each 2-hour session (Friday evening and Sunday morning) just to cover court heating and lighting costs.
Before Friday, you will receive another email from us explaining how you can register for any of the social evenings and to pay your £2 online via an app on the MYCOURTS system.
Until then, please make a note in your diary.
