Wimbledon Opt In Reminder
Hello everyone,
Those of you who are already British Tennis Members should have received an email from the LTA in the last few weeks prompting you to opt in to the 2019 Wimbledon Ballot.
I am sending this email to remind you, if you haven't yet registered and opted in, to please do so as soon as possible. In case you have mislaid the website details, you can register as a Lite British Tennis Member (which is free) at:
https://www.lta.org.uk/member/signup/?productID=1-NLNYP.
There have been some issues with the LTA website, but it seems to be working at the moment. Therefore, if you can get on to the website, I ask you to register and opt in as soon as possible please. If you have tried while they've been having website issues and have been unable to opt in, an alternative is to ring them on 020 8487 7000 between the hours of 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
We've had only 32 out of 135 British Tennis members opt in so far, so the Club will not receive a very generous ticket allocation next year unless a lot more people opt in. It is of course open to all members, including those who only ever play squash.
Once you've registered, you should receive an email prompting you to opt in to the 2019 Wimbledon Ballot. Even if you do not want Wimbledon tickets, it would be very helpful if could register and opt in anyway because, put simply, the more members that opt in, the more Wimbledon tickets the Club will receive for those who do want to go.
In addition, you may also want to enter the public ballot to try to obtain tickets. To do so you need to send a stamped addressed envelope to:

The last date by which you can request an application form is December 15th and it has to be returned by December 31st at the latest. Please note, they are very strict about enforcing only one application per household and will disqualify any multiple applicants.
