Grounds and Premises

Dear Members

We wish to notify you that week commencing Monday 17th October we are commencing extensive improvements to our external ground areas at the club.

There will obviously be some slight disruption around the grounds but hopefully the impact will be minimal in the car park.

The areas being worked on are:

1} the top bank and conifer/shrubbery areas that slopes down to the path by the side of the tennis courts. Can we politely request, should you visit the club during daytime hours please avoid using the pathway if workmen are present and enter the clubhouse and tennis courts via the steps from the car park.
Please note allowance has been made for the brewery delivery along this area at this time.

2} the left-hand side to the drive, driving up to the car park from the main road, again work will be conducted during daytime hours, so please be aware when entering onto the drive, again minimum disruption should be made only when products for this area are delivered.

3} the shrubbed area at the side of tennis court 4 will be completed in due course, making it more aesthetically pleasing and easier to maintain.

4} the area around the back of the club building, which is more out of view but needs to be maintained for safety reasons when conducting external work to the clubhouse.

We hope you value the improvements as it is many, many years since any outside work such as this has been completed.

All we ask of you is your co-operation, patience and contribution to keeping everyone safe on the club premises.

Kind regards
Heather Green
V.C and Hon President
