Tennis Coaching Programme at BTSC
Dear Members
We hope you are enjoying your tennis. We know this time of year it can be challenging to produce your best performances! However, the nights are getting lighter, and Spring is round the corner.
We wanted to update you on a change to the current BTSC Coaching Programme - following many discussions, we are pleased to announce that inspire2coach (Now Tennis) have been appointed to operate the club’s tennis coaching programme. The company formed in 2007 has many years of experience in developing clubs and coaching programmes of varying sizes. They are also a leading provider of Coach Education in the UK.
Our programme is currently being reviewed with exciting plans being developed. We are incredibly lucky to have Alison Smith as our Masters Qualified, Head Coach and her team who deliver high quality lessons.
Alison herself who is a former world ranked player, will remain as Head Coach and is fully supportive of the appointment. She will work with the team at 'Now Tennis' to drive the already successful programme forward to the next level.
Over the next few weeks, you will receive communications regarding the changes to the programme but please be assured that there will be minimal disruption to lessons and the coaching staff will remain in place.
The new programme will start on the 27th of February. Access to the courts for all BTSC members and tennis teams will not change from the current arrangements.
We look forward to seeing you on the court.
