Hi all
Thankfully now that restrictions have been lifted we are slowly but surely returning to some normality, we have during the early stages of the governments roadmap out of Covid lockdown, been offering a limited bar service attributable to the fact that there were no team matches.
Now that there is a reinstatement of team competitions there is a requirement for us to return to full bar coverage, this will mean recruiting an additional 8 bar staff to cover Monday to Thursday 17.30 -20.00 and 20.00-22.30 once per fortnight (equating to 2.5 hours bi-weekly) for free membership.
We rely on the bar to provide much needed revenue to ensure that our club is financially sustainable and without the efforts and contributions of the members we will have to decide whether we close the bar on certain evenings or pay staff, neither is preferable and if the latter, then we will need to increase the product price and maybe also the membership fees to cover the labour overhead.

Please consider we are a members club who rely heavily on the voluntary efforts of our membership to ensure we provide first class playing facilities and also beverages at discounted prices in a safe and welcoming environment.
