All Four Tennis Courts Now Available
Dear Members,
We are delighted to report that the council structural engineer has deemed the remaining section of the roadside wall (behind courts 2-4) safe; consequently, we will be making all four tennis courts available from immediate effect.
The temporary Herras fencing has already been moved back toward the wall to make pay possible. It will be packed up this weekend and collected on Monday or Tuesday.
We would like to thank Tom Blagden for making the fencing available: it is very much appreciated. Thanks also goes to both him and his wife Liesl for taking time to put the fencing in place.
As the first two months of the membership cycle has prevented members from playing full tennis (although coaching has still been available), the MYCOURTS automatic payment system has now been switched to ‘pro rata’ so that you will only be charged for 10 months instead of 12 when paying your annual membership.
If you have not done so, please pay your membership fee as soon as you receive a payment request from the MYCOURTS system via email.
Any members who have been playing squash since the start of April should have already paid their annual membership fee by now. If you have not, please talk to Membership Secretary Dick Lathbury to ensure that you pay for the full 12 months.
