Club Hire for Members
Dear Members
For a while now both previous and the existing committee/s have considered putting together a Club Hire Proforma for members to complete when they wish to use the clubhouse facility for private functions.
As members will know there is no charge for the use of the facility by members and has always been deemed as a perk of the membership. At times we have had members who have asked on behalf of other family members and in the main this has never been declined, however one pre requisite is that the named member attends and takes full responsibility for the guests and any extra costs incurred including responsibility of any damage.
Fortunately this has never been the situation we have had to deal with, so we thank you for that.
However sadly in the litigious world we live in today and to safeguard our members facility, the time has come for the Proforma to come into place.
We have put the Proforma together which is guided by some leglislation, and it is available on request should you wish to hire the club from 1st April 2023. Bar staff are sourced by the Bar Secretary for the event, and the payment for those bar staff lies solely with the hirer for the event.
Those members with existing bookings from April onwards this year will be emailed the document and this will be needed to be returned to Social Secretary Steve Nicholson prior to their event.
New requests can be made via Steve's email which is nicholson1228@gmail.com
