Competitions
Last Man Standing - starting Saturday 4th February!
Entry costs £5 and our average prize pot is £1.5k with £500 going towards our clubs funds. There's only a few days left before Saturday's 11am dealine so why not have a go? Further details and how to enter and play can be found on the clubs notice board, previous emails or by contacting Jase or Steve.
Events
BTSC Walking Group - Saturday 11th February 9am start!
Join us for our inaurgral walk around Calke Abbey. Based on the Tramway Trial, this circular route is 7.5 miles long (approx) starting from Ticknall Village Hall at 9am. In the main, the paths are made up and relatively flat with a few areas around the hall and reservoir that will make the heart pump a little more!
Everyone welcome - friends and family including four legged ones!

Racket Sport Activities
Tennis Coaching
Inspire2coach (Now Tennis) have now been appointed to operate the club's tennis coaching programme starting on the 27th February. The programme is currently being reviewed with exciting plans being developed. Alison Smith, our Masters Qualified Tennis Coach, will remain as Head Coach and will be working with 'Now Tennis' to drive the already successful programme forward to the next level.
Full information on the above can be found on the committee's previous email with further details to be announced shortly.
Squash & Racketball
BTSC squash and racketball teams are competiting in the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire leagues this month providing some entertaining nights of high level racket sport, so why not come along and support our teams!
A full list of fixtures will be posted at the club but here are a few highlights:
Tuesday 7th - Burton (Leicester 1) v Northamptonshire
Wednesday 15th - Burton Racketball (Warw) v David Lloyd Solihull
Thursday 23rd - Burton (Derbyshire 1) v Duffield 2

- Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "Burton Tennis & Squash Club <burtonsquash@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "Burton Tennis & Squash Club <burtonsquash@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".
